Michael Chopra grabbed a late winner for Sunderland to give them a 1-0 win over Martin Jol’s much fancied Tottenham Hotspur.

Mido has confirmed that he will definitely leave Tottenham Hotspur during the transfer window, but has not yet made his mind up on who to join.

The 24-year-old confirmed that Sunderland and Birmingham City have made official offers, along with another side but dismissed claims that it could be Fulham because they could not afford his wages.

Sunderland continued their pre-season preparations with a 1-1 draw against Italian giants Juventus at the Stadium of Light.
